I'm sorry I can't give a critique-heavy comment, because I'm not experienced in this field; certainly not enough so that I could find flaw with such a well-executed piece. I just wanted to add my piece and say that this is a great concept, excellently realised. :)

That is breathtaking. I've never seen such talent in 3-dimensional art before. When I first saw it, I was like, 'So it's a photograph of a cube-snake and a diamond; so what?' That was before I saw that it was actually computer-generated.

Awesome work!! Your lighting is pretty sweet and the concept was well portrayed.

Maybe you could have angled the camera down a little bit or increased the focal length. Just so that the distant backdrop didnt show up... lending to the traditional 2d platform idea of the game.
